WISKA presents new EMC-insert and Ex-adaptors

At Hannovermesse 2011, WISKA presented its new EMC-insert for cable glands for the first time. The contact spring insert guarantees a complete and continuous EMC protection and allows for shield extension. It is assembled quickly and easily and also after disassembly the cable shield stays undamaged.
As a further novelty, WISKA also offers several new Ex-d adaptors: They equalize different thread types and sizes and are available in diverse threads (metric, PG, NPT) and materials (brass, stainless steel, aluminium). They will appear in diverse female and male threads shortly. The product highlights are completed by the cable glands according to British Standard BS 6121.
For the first time, WISKA also presented its maritime CCTV camera surveillance systems, floodlights and lighting fixtures at the leading fair WIND in Hanover. They are all prepared for applications under extreme environmental conditions and are already being successfully applied to the first offshore windparks. www.wiska.de
